Blast Costs 3 Police Officers During Property Removal Operation in Northern Italy
A trio of officers perished and at least 15 additional individuals got wounded in an apparently deliberate detonation from gas at a rural property in Italy's north.

The explosion took place as law enforcement and fire personnel went into the property near the city of Verona to carry out an removal notice for a brother and sister trio in their late 50s and mid-60s.
All three officers killed served in the Carabinieri military police.

A man and a woman were taken into custody at the location and another man who escaped after the explosion was located soon after. Each of them have been taken to medical facility.

“Upon entering the house, we were confronted with an act of absolute madness,” local police chief the police commander informed news outlets.

Injuries and Destruction
The wounded by the explosion consisted of eleven more officers of the military police as well as three members of national police and a emergency responder.
