Jet Transporting US Defense Secretary Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield

A jet ferrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday after a crack was identified in the plane's windshield, as stated by an official statement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The jet touched down following standard protocol and all passengers, including Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer stated in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels during the flight.

This event is not the initial instance that a US military aircraft carrying a high-ranking official has encountered technical problems.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane carrying Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to head back to the US capital after experiencing a technical issue.
